Suicide ganking is a valid game mechanic. It is not an exploit, the offender's ship is destroyed by CONCORD. Only thing that needs to be done is the removal of Insurance when one is aggressed by CONCORD. This will bring it in line with common sense, that is it.

Originally by: Serenity Steele This issue was raised by the Council of Stellar Management at the first CSM meeting on 19th June, together with a set of solutions. CCP are aware of it.
Quit polishing the PR turd that is the CSM. You guys don't have any real power and most of the better part of EVE knows it. Hell that's the only reason so many of you carebears got elected. Personally I wish you guys would butt out and quit trying to change EVE to suit YOUR wishes. CCP has done a fine job at governing EVE so far and you guys have proposed more crap ideas in the last 3 months then CCP has in the last 5 years.
Duban, what exactly did they propose that was messed up? I know they finally asked CCP about POS overhaul, if anything this will benefit Alliance PVP more than it would benefit any "carebears." Well, thats the extent what what I know as far as proposed issues - is there a list?

Originally by: Spineker Insurance really isnt going to stop anything. If you can get 100 million isk for a kill then a few caracals aren't going to matter. If you can get 500 million a battleship insurance being revoked still makes it very practical exercise.
Insurance will end nothing just make it a little more expensive but considering it didn't cost anything but a few million isk to get millions of isk to start with it is a nonissue. If it is greifing it might stop some of that but the ones after isk it will not stop them. They still get isk.
Removing insurance just make sense - it is not designed to STOP the suicide gankers. Just to introduce little more balance. Suiciding is a valid mechanic, just needs to be brought in line that all. It will mean that only those who do not do their homework will get suicided.
In other words calculations will need to be made, like:
It will take 15 Battleships to take down my freighter - at current prices it will mean 1.5 Billion ISK (hypothetically). My cargo is worth 5 Billion ISK, I should reduce my cargo to 2.5 Billion ISK to make sure that the suicide ganker thinks twice about killing my ship, since the potential payout is low when compared to the next guy who did not do his homework and is taking the 5 Billion ISK cargo.

Suicide ganking should stay...but if you suicide...it should be "almost" final. You should REALLY take a hit and in more way than one. Instant -10 would be a good start.
Then one might have serious respect for those that suicide their game experience.
Instant -10 for suiciding the ship will mean the end of suicide gankers! So how can you argue for it to stay? Also, what about the noobs, who fire on each other, without knowing a game yet, and all of a sudden they will become -10? Your argument makes no sense.

Originally by: Marlona Sky It's basically people saying that ccp should take away the "Your ISK is now my ISK" button.
So what you saying that they want to turn EVE into Hello Kitty Online? Since "Your ISK is now my ISK" is rather a principal on which EVE operates, well, mostly.
